We took the kids to the beach last week - they were really interested to learn how to skimboard. 

We had a gorgeous day for it - 70 degrees and not windy, not crowed, and the sun peeked out after the fog burned off. 

We also saw dolphins so close up to the shore we couldn't believe it! Plus a bonus sea lion and sea otter. It was a great day.

Abby and Shelby must have each had over 100 runs on the skimboard. They just kept going for hours. Which is good because unlike them I need breaks!

This past weekend my wife and I celebrated our anniversary by the beach in Pacific Grove. We had a great time and stumbled upon this amazing restaurant in Pacific Grove call Passion Fish.
